The ApparitionWell this one was inspired by the classic ghost tale and movie "The Innocents" the black and white 1961 film with Deborah Kerr.
It being a full moon and Halloween coming I decided this location I had visited and painted at recently in Sherborn, MA would be an ideal spot for a ghostly vision. That scene in the movie when the woman's spirit appears across the pond, I just love that film...
